Wallbridge, Edain Angel
Wallbridge, Edain Angel an English Congregational missionary, was born April 10, 1813, and died April 27, 1876. Mr. Wallbridge was for a time connected with the British and Foreign School Society, and, in connection with Mr. Trew, engaged in school work at Jamaica. In 1841 he was invited by the London Missionary Society to commence their mission station at Georgetown, Demerara, and here he labored without interruption till 1874. He was deeply interested in the mission work, and was wonderfully blessed in heralding the Gospel of Christ. See (Lond.) Cong. Year-book, 1877, p. 420.
