Wallauer, George

Wallauer, George a German Reformed minister, arrived in America, from Europe, in the winter of 1771. He was pastor of the congregation at Baltimore from 1772 until near May, 1776, when it is said that he left Baltimore. Some one has related' that during the American Revolution he left his congregation and joined the British army. See Harbaugh, Fathers of the Germ. Ref. Church. 2, 399.
