Sinclair, Henry

Sinclair, Henry a Scotch prelate, was rector of Glasgow in 1539, and in 1541 abbot of the abbey of Kilwinning, which last benefice he exchanged for the deanery of Glasgow in 1550, where he had ministered two years before. He was bishop of Ross in 1561. He died in France, January 2, 1564. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 193.
