Roger of Wendover
Roger Of Wendover, an ancient English historian, of whom little is known, embraced the monastic life in the Abbey of St. Alban's, and died May 6, 1237. He published Rogeri de Wendover Chronica, sive Flores Historiarum (formerly ascribed to Matthew Paris), translated from the Latin by J. A. Giles (Lond. 1849, 2 vols. 8vo).
