Kate, Gerhard Ten
Kate, Gerhard Ten a Dutch theologian, was born in 1699. He studied at Utrecht, was in 1724 professor at the Lingen Gymnasium, in 1728 of philosophy at Deventer, in 1742 of Oriental languages and Church history at Harderwyck, and died November 28, 1749. He wrote, De Omnipraesentia Dei: — De Regno Dei et Christi: — De Regni Dei et Christi Fatis inter Gentes: — De Rebus Jesu Christi ex Prophetis. See Jocher, Allgemeines Gelehrten-Lexikon, s.v. (B.P.)
