Hoes, Cantine Farrell, D.D.
a Reformed (Dutch) minister, was born at Middleburgh, N.Y., July 13, 1811. He graduated from Amherst College in 1832, studied two years in Princeton Theological Seminary, was licensed to preach in 1834, became pastor at Chittenango, N.Y., in 1836, at Ithaca in 1837, at Kingston in 1845, resigned in 1867, and died at the last named place, February 9, 1883.
