Hodaiah
Hodai'ah (Hebrew Hodayeva'hu, הוֹדִיוָהוּ, marg more correctly, Hodavya'hu, הוֹדִויָהוּ, a prolonged form of Hodaviah; Sept. ᾿Ωδουϊvα, Vulgate Oduja),
the first named of the seven sons of Elioenai, of the descendants. of Zerubbabel (1Ch 3:24); probably a brother of the Nahum of Lu 3:25 (see Strong's Harm. and Exposition of the Gospels, p. 17). B.C. cir. 406. SEE GENEALOGY OF JESUS CHRIST.
