Free (or Free-will) Offering
Free (Or Free-Will) Offering (נדָבָה, nedabah', i.e., voluntar, as often), spoken of a spontaneous gift (Ex 35:29; Ezr 1:4; comp. 7), but chiefly of a voluntary sacrifice (Le 22:23; Ezr 3:5; Eze 46:12; plur. 2Ch 31:14; Le 23:38; Am 4:5; fig. Ps 119:108), as opposed to one in consequence of a vow (נֵדֶר), or in expiation of some offense. SEE THANK-OFFERING.
