Dutton, Warren Backus, D.D.
a Presbyterian minister, graduated from Yale College in 1829, studied at the Union Theological Seminary of Virginia, became assistant pastor in Farmville, Virginia, in 1838, pastor at Charlestown in 1841, devoted 1866- 67 to recruiting his health, labored from 1868 to 1870 at Harper's Ferry, and afterwards resided at Charlestown until his death, September 5, 1874, at the age of seventy years.
