Davenport, Benjamin

Davenport, Benjamin an English Baptist minister, was born at Bourneheath, Bromsgrove, in 1826. He was converted at seventeen, joined the Baptist Church at Holy Cross, and began to preach at Catshill and Stony Stratford. He settled as pastor at Brington, Northamptonshire, in 1854, and died July 30, 1857. See (Lond.) Baptist Hand-book, 1858, page 49.
