Darerca
Darerca a reputed Irish saint, is said to have been the sister of St. Patrick. Her father was Calphurnius. a British nobleman, and her mother Conchessa, a sister or niece of St. Martin of Tours. Colgan says that she bore to two husbands, Conis and Restitutus, seventeen sons, who were bishops, and two daughters, who were virgins. In her old age she devoted herself to God, and took charge of the altar vestings, with her sisters Lupita and Tigrida. Later writers have thrown discredit upon the whole story. She is commemorated March 22.
