Conceicam (or Barbosa Da Costa), Antonio Da

Conceicam (or Barbosa da Costa), Antonio da a Portuguese theologian of the Franciscan order, was born at Porto, June 7,1657. He entered the order in 1673 and distinguished himself by his talent as a preacher. He died April 20, 1713, leaving Clamores Evangelici (Lisbon, 1698). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
