Carloni, Carlo

Carloni, Carlo a Milanese painter, was born near Como in 1686, and was instructed by Giulio Quaglio. He died in. 1775. Little is known of him as a painter, but he executed the following engravings, mostly original: The Conception of the Virgin; The Holy Family, with St. John Kissing the Foot of Jesus; The Death of a Saint.
