Canfield, Ezekiel

Canfield, Ezekiel, a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Salisbury, Conn., March 16,1767. He professed religion in 1791, and in 1794 entered the New York Conference, and continued laborious and faithful until worn out. He died Oct. 16.1825. Mr. Canfield was modest, affable, constant, ardent, experimental, and practical. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1826, p. 509 .
