Campi, Vicenzo

Campi, Vicenzo, an Italian painter, youngest son: of Galeazzo, was born at Cremona before 1532. and studied under his brother Giulio. He painted four Descents; from the Cross, for the churches of Cremona, and St. Peter Receiving the Keys, for San Paolo, of Milan. He: died in 1591. See Hoefer, Nouv Biog. Generale, s.v.
