Campi, Giulio
Campi, Giulio, an eminent Italian painter, the son of Galeazzo, was born at Cremona in 1500, and studied under Giulio Romana at Mantua, and afterwards at Rome. His best works are at Mantua, Milan, and Cremona. Two of them are, The Descent from, the Cross, in San Gismondo, at Cremona, and the Dome of San Girolamo, at Mantua.
