Buisseret (or Busseret), Franwois

Buisseret (Or Busseret), Franwois a Flemish theologian and historian, was born in' 1549 at Mons, in Hainault. .He was successively official, archdeacon, and grand-vicar of Cambray, bishop of Namur in 1602, and archbishop of Cambray in 1614. He died in 1615. He wrote, HIistoire d'une Reliqieuse de Mons Possedee (1585):- Histoire du Concile Provincial de Mons (1586):-La Vie de Sainte-Marie d'Oigine (1608). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
