Borgognone, Ambrogio

Borgognone, Ambrogio a noted Milanese painter, lived about 1500, and studied under Vincenzio Foppa, He painted for one of the cloisters of San Simpliciano, at Milan, the history of St. Sisinio and his companions, also a Coronation of the Virgin See Hoefer, Nouv, Biog.
