Borgiani, Orazio
Borgiani, Orazio a Roman painter and engraver, was born in 1577, and studied under his brother Giulio, called Scalzo. He painted several pictures for the Spanish ambassador and also for the churches of Rome. His principal works are, The Resurrection; The Dead Christ, with the two Marys and St. John; St. Christopher giving his Hand to the Infant Jesus. He died in 1615. See Spooner, Biog.
