Blackwell, Thomas

Blackwell, Thomas a Scotch clergyman, was minister of Paisley, in Renfrewshire, from whence he was removed in 1700 to be one of the ministers of Aberdeen. He was afterwards elected professor of divinity in Marischal College, Aberdeen, and in 1717 became principal of that college, in both of which offices he continued until his death, in 1728.
