Blackwell, Richard

Blackwell, Richard an early Methodist preach er, commenced his ministry in 1759, and preached in Ireland and Great Britain. His last years were in Scotland. He died in Aberdeen, Dec. 27, 1767. He is spoken of as a young man at the time of his death, wholly devoted to his work, and an example to the flock in conversation and godliness. See Atmore, Methodist Memorial, s.v.
