Bischofsberger Barthelemi a Swiss Protestant theologian, was born in 1632. He took holy orders, became minister at Trojen, and died in 1678, leaving a History of the Canton of Appelzell (St. Gall, 1682). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
