Alden, Timothy (2)

Alden, Timothy, a Congregational minister, father of Rev. Dr. Timothy Alden, was a descendant of the famous John Alden of Plymouth renown. He was born in 1737, graduated at Harvard in the class of 1762, and was ordained pastor of the Church in Yarmouth, Mass., where he remained until his death, which occurred Nov. 13, 1821.
