Agionites

Agionites (or Agionenses), a sect which appeared in the 7th century, and which pretended to more than ordinary sanctity. It is but little known, appears to have had but few followers, and was condemned in the Council of Gangra, together with the Encratites, Manichseans, and Montanists.
