Young, Alexander, D.D.

a Unitarian minister, was born in Boston, Sept. 22,1800. In 1812 he entered Boston Latin School, and in 1820 he graduated at Harvard College. In 1821 he entered the Divinity School at Cambridge, where he pursued the regular course of study for three years. He was licensed in 1824, and accepted a call to the Sixth Congregational Church, Boston, in 1825. In 1833 he went to Europe. He was a very successful preacher. He died March 16, 1846.
