Yogins

Yogins are the followers of the Yoga (q.v.) system of Hindu philosophy, but in popular acceptation a term generally denoting a Hindu ascetic or devotee, a man who has entered the fourth stage of religious life as described in the sastras. A large class of such persons forms a division of the votaries of Siva.
