Witschel, Johann Heineich Wilhelm
Witschel, Johann Heineich Wilhelm a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born May 9, 1769, at Hensenfeld, near Nuremberg. In 1801 he was appointed pastor at Igensdorf, in 1811 dean at Grafenberg, in 1819 pastor and dean at Katzenhochstadt, in Bavaria, and died April 24, 1847. He is the author of an ascetical work entitled, Morgen- und Abendopfer (Nuremberg, 1806; 13th ed. 1854): — Moralische Blatter (ibid. 1801; 3d ed.
