Wilkinson, Henry
Wilkinson, Henry eldest of those thus named, was born in the vicarage of Halifax, Yorkshire, October 9, 1566. He went to Oxford in 1581, was elected fellow of Merton College, and graduated in 1586 in 1601 became rector at Waddesdon, in Buckinghamshire, and died there, March 19, 1647. He was one of the Puritan divines of the Westminster Assembly, and wrote, A Catechism: — Debt-book, etc.
