West, Richard, D.D.
an English clergyman, was born in 1671. He became a commoner in Merton College, Oxford, in 1688; was afterwards elected fellow of Magdalen College; became prebendary of Winchester in 1706; archdeacon of Berks in 1710; and died Dec. 2, 1716.
