Wanley, Nathaniel

Wanley, Nathaniel an English clergyman and author, was born at Leicester in 1633, and educated at Trinity College, Oxford. He became minister at Beeby, Leicestershire, and subsequently vicar of Trinity Church, Coventry. He died in 1680. Mr. Wanley was the author of Vox Dei; or, The Great Duty of Reflection upon a Man's Own Ways (London 1658): — The Wonders of the Little World; or, A General History of Man (1678): — The History of Man; or, The Wonders of Human Nature in Relation to the Virtues, Vices, and Defects of Both Sexes (1704).
