Vignola, Girolamo Da

Vignola, Girolamo da an Italian painter, furnished at Modena in the first half of the 16th century. He was a professed follower of Raphael, and some of his frescos still remain in the Church of St. Piero in his native city. See Spooner, Biog. Hist. of the Fine Arts, s.v.
