Vannuys, James Harvey
Vannuys, James Harvey a Presbyterian minister, was born in Franklin, Ind., Dec. 18, 1831. He was, educated in Hanover College; graduated at the Theological Seminary, Princeton, N. J., in 1861; was licensed by the Donegal Presbytery, and went West; and was ordained by the Rock River Presbytery in 1863 as pastor of the Church at Andover, Ill. He subsequently preached at Wilton Station and Sugar Creek, Ia. He died Nov. 25,1866. He was a warm- hearted Christian, and an earnest and very acceptable preacher. See Wilson, Presb. Hist.
