Van Nostrand, Aaron

Van Nostrand, Aaron a Protestant Episcopal clergyman, died at Painesville, O., of camp fever, Feb. 27, 1863, aged thirty-two years. He was chaplain of the 105th Regiment of Ohio Volunteers, and at the time of his death was rector of St. James's Church in Painesville, which position he had held for nearly three years. Previous to this he had been rector of St. John's Church, Clyde, N. Y., for a period of five years. See American Quar. Church Rev. April, 1863, p. 152.
