Valle, Andrea Della
Valle, Andrea Della an Italian architect of the 16th century, was born at Padua. His principal work was the Carthusian monastery, two miles from Padua. This structure, from its beautiful design, has been attributed to Palladio. He published an. edition of the unprinted works of Pladtio, in which he inserted five plates. See Spooner, Biog.
