Vairagis

Vairagis is a Hindu term denoting persons devoid of passion, and applied to all religious mendicants who profess to have separated themselves from the interests and emotions of the world., It is used in particular to designate the mendicant Vaishnavas (q.v.) of the Ramnaanada class.
