Tischer, Johann Friedrich Wilhelm
Tischer, Johann Friedrich Wilhelm a German Protestant divine, was born at Tautschen, near Torgau, in the year 1767. In 1792 he was called to the pastorate of his native city; in 1794 he was appointed superintendent at Jüterbogk; four years later he was called to Plauen, and in 1823 to Pirna, having in the meantime received the degree of doctor of theology. He died in the latter place in 1842. He published, Scholia in Loc.
