Stephani, Heinrich

Stephani, Heinrich, a Protestant divine of Germany, was born at Gmund, April 1, 1761. He studied at Erlangen, and was made in 1794 member of consistory at Castel. In 1808 he was appointed superintendent of the Church and school at Augsburg; in 1818 dean and pastor at Gunzenhausen, was suspended in 1836, and died in 1850 at Gorkau, in Silesia.
