Snowden, Samuel Finley
Snowden, Samuel Finley, a Presbyterian minister, was born in Philadelphia, Pa., Nov. 6, 1767. He graduated at the College of New Jersey in 1786; studied theology privately; was licensed to preach by the New Brunswick Presbytery, April 24, 1794; was ordained and installed pastor of the Church in Princeton Nov. 25 of same year; resigned on account of ill health, April 29, 1801; was afterwards settled successively at Whitesborough, New Hartford, and Sackett's Harbor, N.Y.; and died in May, 1845.
