Smith, William Augustus, D.D.

a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born at Brockville, Canada, May 27, 1834. In 1863 he was admitted into the Rock River Conference, and served as a pastor until his death, September 30, 1887. For sixteen years he was the secretary of his conference, and was a member of thle General Conference of 1876, and reserve delegate to that of 1880.
