Smith, Alexander L

Smith, Alexander. L., a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was born in Marlborough District, S.C., Dec. 5, 1823, and was received into the South Carolina Conference in 1847. He remained effective for twenty years, supernumerary one year, and superannuated for nearly four years. He died in Spartanburg, S.C., Aug. 25, 1872. See Minutes of Annual Conferences of M.E.
