Siric

Siric archbishop of Canterbury, was educated at Glastonbury, and, having been a monk there, was removed to St. Augustine's, at Canterbury, where he became abbot. Siric was consecrated archbishop in 990, and went to Rome for his pallium. He was fond of pomp and display. He died in 994. See Hook, Lives of the Archbishops of Canterbury, 1:432.
