Shim'elith (Heb. Shimath', שַׁמעִת, fem. of Shimeah; Sept. Σεμαάθ, v.r. Σαμάθ, Σαμά, and Ι᾿εμουάθ), an Ammonitess, mother of Zabad or Jozachar, one of the two murderers of king Josiah (2Ki 12:21; 2Ch 24:26). B.C. ante 609.
