Shema The Sameh between Tell Milh and Beersheba, proposed for this place, is an error for Saweh (i.e., Hazor-Shual); and Tristram suggests (Bible Places, page 18) that Shema (i.e., Sheba) is represented by Tell es-Seba, about two miles east of Bir es-Seba. SEE BEERSHEBA.
