Shalmai

Shal'mai (Heb. margin in Ezra Shalmay', שִׁלמִי, my thanks; text Shamlay', שִׁמלִי; Sept. Σελαμί; in Nehemiah Salmay', שִׂלמִי, my garments; Sept. Σελμεϊv), one of the head Nethinim whose descendants returned with Zerubbabel from Babylon (Ezr 2:46; Ne 7:48). B.C. ante 536.
