Sa'lum, a Greek form found in the Apocrypha of the Hebrew name SHALLUM SEE SHALLUM (q.v.): a. (Σαλοῦμος v.r. Σαλῆμος; 1 Esdr. 8:1) the father of Hilkiah (Ezr 7:2); b. (Σαλούμ; I Esdr. 5:28) a temple "porter" (Ezr 2:42).
