Salier, Jacques

Salier, Jacques, a French theologian, was born at Saulien in the year 1615. He belonged to the order of the Minimes. After having taught theology, he became provincial, and finally assistant of the general of his order. He died at Dijon, Aug. 20, 1707. He wrote, De Eucharisticis (1687): — Cacocephalus (1694): — Pensees sur le Paradis et sur l'Ame Raisonnable, in which there is very little about paradise.
