Saddae'us (or rather Daddoe'us [as in 1 Esdr. 8:46], Δαδδαῖος, v.r. Δολδαῖος, Λοδδαῖος, and Λοδαῖος), a corrupt Graecized form (1 Esdr. 8:45) of the name IDDO (q.v.) of the Hebrew text (Ezr 8:17).
