Roxburgh, Hugo De

Roxburgh, Hugo De a Scotch prelate, was rector of Tullibody, and clerk to Nicolaus, the chancellor of Scotland. He was afterwards archdeacon of St. Andrews. In 1189 he was made chancellor of Glasgow, and in 1199 bishop, but sat only one year. He died in 1200. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 236.
