Rhodes, Georges De
Rhodes, Georges de, brother of Alexandre, was born at Avignon in 1597. He embraced the rule of St. Ignatius at Lyons in 1613, taught rhetoric in the College of Notre Dame in that city, and was its director for twenty-seven years. He died May 17, 1661. Of his writings we have, Disputationes Theologicoe Scholasticoe (Lyons, 1661, 1671, 1676): — Philosophia Peripatetica (ibid. 1671).
