Regionarii one of the three classes of subdeacons at Rome, appointed in the 11th century, and employed in various occupations in the several regiones or districts of that city. The other classes were called PALATINI SEE PALATINI (q.v.) and STATIONARII SEE STATIONARII (q.v.).
